The owner e-mailed us the map of Iki's loation which leads to our convenience to get there. The room is spacious for 4 persons. Well-maintained. Affodable pricing! Suggest to have 'rubbish separation bins' for recycling, n easy cleaning purpose! Overall, highly recommended!

The young owner was extremely helpful and friendly, showing us to a great restaurant round the corner when we arrived late at night! The facilities were extremely good for the price bracket: modern private bathroom with shower, comfortable beds, and a useful communal kitchen. The whole place was very clean, quiet and well organised. Much better than other accommodation we stayed in for a higher price. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean, and value for money. Located at a small alley, hence very peaceful.
We missed the signboard as it wasnt very obvious and we took some time finding it

It was very modern with impeccable design; Jun, the host/owner was very helpful; small (but in a cozy way) with a warm & friendly feeling; extraordinarily clean; free wifi; rooms were excellent value with ensuites including one of the best showers we came across in Japan.
All pluses, nothing negative at all, but a suggestion would be to put a sign on the main road to alert people to the correct alleyway.

The owner is a fantastic guy with good english. The place is really nice with brand new equipments and with a well equipped kitchen. (Strange but even the pillow and the quilt was the best I ever meat in a hostel) Also the location, the city, the whole atmosphere really made it a very good place to be.
It was a bit hard to find mostly in rain.

Owner was very helpful, made dinner reservations for us. Room small but clean and modern, good value in great location.
Need tea/coffee making facility in room. Cannot use shared kitchen until 8 am therefore difficult for early risers to get a cuppa

Nice and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and very comfortable rooms, with a go easy atmosphere. Close to all the sights in Nara and with shops and restaurants close by.
Nothing bad about this place!

Guest House Iki is not the kind Japanese old house which is dark with narrow staircase. It is brand new with new furniture, new bathroom facilities, new aircon and with clean and very comfortable beddings. The owner is flexible and speaks good English. It is spacious compared relatively with the standard of share room guest house. The share toilet is inside room, so if not fully booked, no need to share at all. Indivdual guest has his own room key even staying in share room.
